Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Food Truck Menu (the "Service"), operated by Food Truck Menu Pty Ltd ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account, subscribing, or placing an order through the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. The Service

We provide a QR-based ordering and menu management platform for food truck vendors and their customers in Australia. Vendors publish a menu and accept orders; customers scan a code, order, and pay. We are not the seller of the food — the vendor is.

3. Vendor accounts

• You must be an Australian food business with the right to sell the items you list.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of your menu, pricing, allergen and dietary information.
• You are responsible for fulfilling orders, food safety, and complying with all applicable laws.
• You authorise us to use Stripe Connect to process payments to your nominated account.

4. Customer orders

Orders placed through the Service form a contract between you and the vendor. Refunds, allergens, and food complaints must be raised with the vendor directly. We may assist where reasonable.

5. Subscriptions & fees

Vendor subscriptions are billed in advance and renew automatically until cancelled. Payment processing fees (Stripe) apply to all orders. You can cancel anytime from your dashboard; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

6. Acceptable use

You must not use the Service to sell unlawful items, mislead customers, infringe intellectual property, send spam, attempt to breach security, or interfere with other users.

7. Liability

The Service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the 3 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms. You can close your account anytime by contacting us.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
